Worship & Music Notes

By Karen Wojahn, Worship & Music Coordinator (831-3161)

American Lutheran is blessed by the wide variety of talents our members possess. Think of some of the talents and gifts that are used in our weekly worship services:

We gather to worship in a space that has been beautifully decorated by members with artistic talents.

We are warmly welcomed by ushers and greeters who have the gift of hospitality.

The printed bulletin and projection screens have been prepared by our skillful office secretary and clever technology personnel.

We hear the scripture lessons read by members with a gift for speaking.

Capable members assist with our sound system and videography.

Holy Communion is prepared and served by members who have the gifts of efficiency and commitment.

Talented singers and instrumentalists of many ages enrich our worship with song.

What talents can you share with your church family? Give me a call and we’ll find a place for you!

“Here as one we claim the faith of Jesus:

All are welcome, all are welcome,

All are welcome in this place.”

(ELW #641)

P.S. Do you play an instrument? I’m putting together a small ensemble to play some hymns and we need you!
