BAPTIZED WE LIVE – AFFIRM YOUR FAITH! Do you know of couples that have renewed their marriage vows? That brings some good energy to the couple and family, and a reason to celebrate! We can reaffirm the faith of our baptism in the same way. Affirmation of Baptism is a fancy way of saying “getting confirmed” and you can do it more than once over your lifetime. In fact, it’s basically what New Members do when they join a congregation. Pastors Sarah and Adam will be leading two sessions on April 14th and 21st from 5-6:30. We’ll use a great little book with lots of illustrations, Baptized we Live, Lutheranism as a Way of Life by Daniel Erlander. There will be food and childcare provided, just RSVP to either pastor by Wednesday April 10.
Here’s a few reasons why you might want to participate:
- Get to know other people in your faith community better.
- Support one another, wherever you are in your journey of faith.
- Grow in your understanding of what Lutherans are all about.
- Affirm the faith of your baptism!
